This Chevy is a one owner car that was purchased in March of 1957 from an Oklahoma dealer. The Bel Air was a special order vehicle and was originally a dual four 283 cubic inch engine. It is presently powered by a 350 engine. It was a daily driver until 1971. A complete body off restoration was completed in 2003.
The Bel Air has won both the Best Ride and People's Choice awards in the Amarillo Make-A-Wish Car Show. It has also taken Best in Class and Best in Show in the Shamrock, Texas Saint Patrick's Day Show. Another Best in Show award was taken by the Chevy in Loveland, Texas's Thunder on the Plains Car Show.
