This car was purchased as a "parts car" from an estate sale for twenty dollars in August of 2005. The previous owner had removed the engine, transmission and interior. The previous owner also cut up the firewall and front cross member and dropped a Ford V-8 into the engine compartment. It appears that he then decided not to abandon the project. He filled the car with spare parts from other unfinished projects and drug it out in the woods were it sat for many years. The truly amazing thing is that the car was basically rust free after all of those years. Danny bought the car for parts, but after realizing how good the body was, he decided to build a customized MGB. With the exception of the engine machine work and the rebuilding of the transmission, all work was done in home shop by himself.
