This vehicle was built by Ford on 1/9/1967 and shipped to Shelby
American Automotive Inc. for completion. Shelby completed the car
on 1/30/1967. Sold to original private individual owner on 2/17/1967.
The hood was replaced in June of 1967 along with the decklid in
October of the same year. The car was originally believed to be
used for drag racing. The Mustang was purchased by Richard in October
of 2001. Lacking an engine and transmission, the vehicle had not
been on the road for many years. The two year restoration from 2003
to 2005 restored this white 1969 Shelby Mustang GT500 back to as
new condition.
